ISCE Douro is located on the main artery of Penafiel, with a privileged location in the city center with two entrances to different parts of the city: one to the fairgrounds and the other to the main avenue of Penafiel.

ISCE Douro has privileged access, whether via public transport or private transport. Not only is it close to the immense fairgrounds where it is possible to park private vehicles, but it also has an internal space dedicated to parking vehicles.

The institution also enjoys excellent road and rail access (approximately 10 minutes from the access to the A4 and 15 minutes from the Novelas-Penafiel train station).

Our Campus has unique characteristics in terms of the quality of the buildings and access for people with reduced mobility, with several elevators available, and is made up of three buildings. A building facing Avenida José Júlio that houses the Presidency, the institution's self-governing bodies, faculty offices, the cafeteria/bar, support and reception services, a recreational lounge, an interior garden, the Student Association, several classrooms, as well as computer, multimedia and VR laboratories, equipped with the latest technology. A second building, facing an interior courtyard next to the first building, contains the library, the science laboratory and the research center meeting room. Finally, a third building that faces Rua Vitorino da Costa and consists of several classrooms, the sports laboratory, the expressions laboratory and the Academic Services.

In these spaces of excellence, ideal conditions are created for teaching, research, laboratory, educational, sporting, cultural and academic practices.

Furthermore, our Campus has an outdoor amphitheater and multiple green spaces, ideal for students to socialize and enjoy nature.

We are in the center of Penafiel to serve the entire North Region.
