CISIET 2023

On the 4th, 5th and 6th of October , the International Congress of Research Seminars-Education-Technology (CISIET 2023) took place for the first time in Portugal and Europe.

This event aims to disseminate scientific knowledge in the areas of research, education and technology, thus establishing bridges that generate sharing and social and human transformation.

Researchers from Portugal, Peru, Mexico, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Chile and Colombia were present. At the Opening Session of the Congress, Prof. Doctor Ricardo Martins, Administrator of PEDAGO, Establishing Entity of ISCE Douro, welcomed and praised the choice of ISCE Douro and the city of Penafiel to be the center of innovation during these days. Then, Dr. Alejandro Alvarez, Rector of the National Pedagogical University, thanked the collaboration and the importance of scientific dissemination.

During the three days of this hybrid event, which took place in person and online, several communications from students and teachers from our Institute were presented.

Highlights include the morning of October 5th, a day dedicated to cultural visits with the group of participants and researchers visiting the cultural and geographical heritage of Penafiel and the official reception at Penafiel City Council by the Councilor responsible for Education, Dr. Rodrigo Lopes which happened on the 6th.

The Closing Session of the Congress was in charge of the President of ISCE Douro, Prof. Doctor Edgar Bernardo .

In 2024, CISIET will take place again in October and this time in Colombia, with the participation of our Institute already being a certainty.
