Educational Sciences and Teacher Training constitute the oldest training tradition of our institution. Many teachers and educators graduated from ISCE Douro develop their teaching activities throughout the country and abroad, demonstrating their competence, adaptation and evolutionary capacity, qualities that have been appreciated by educational institutions, parents and guardians, by students and communities.

Furthermore, we offer training that favors intellectual and human maturity, through the construction of knowledge, skills and attitudes essential to the development of socio-educational and community intervention and mediation activities in different social contexts, favoring the integration of people and groups, promoting the development of the person, the community, social and professional inclusion, civic responsibility and professional competence.

In line with this tradition that aims to systematically innovate, ISCE Douro offers the Degree in Basic Education , the Degree in Social Education and the Master's Degree in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st CEB while strengthening its offer within the scope postgraduate studies and specialized training, as well as continuing training.

In the area of Education, we also offer the CTeSP in Family and Community Services and the CTeSP in Monitoring Children and Young People .
