| Course Presentation

This study cycle aims to train professionals based on a multidisciplinary training matrix, which at higher education level, takes the form of acquiring knowledge, conceptual and technical skills in the areas of Arts, Creative Industries and Entertainment and in the Technology sector of Information, Communication and Electronics (TICE) from a perspective that promotes autonomy and an entrepreneurial aspect.

Provide and enhance the development of sustained analytical, research and critical perspectives, based on the mastery of theoretical foundations and ethics in practices, particularly at the level of conceptual and material production of pedagogical, educational, recreational and cultural content or support, aimed at the different contexts and organizational domains. Promote understanding and decoding the impact of the use of technologies and their evolution in information and knowledge societies in a paradigm of innovation, sharing and transferring knowledge, in national and international scenarios.

| Learning Objectives

At the end of the course, students should:

Master multimedia as an axis that brings together equipment and software, materials and techniques that articulate knowledge and dimensions at the level of text, sound, fixed and animated images. Work in the production process of interactive and multimedia content, mastering programming languages from an exploration and production perspective.

Undertake a multidisciplinary training, based on the understanding and mastery of the forms and codes of arts and multimedia languages, communication and information, in order to provide a creative intervention and encourage innovative practices in the artistic, cultural, organizational and business domains.

Develop and evaluate interactive and multimedia projects based on problems identified in different contexts, essential to a professional logic based on a perspective of responsible entrepreneurship and sustainable development.

| Professional Opportunities

The course's professional opportunities are distributed across different sectors and economic spheres. Therefore, a professional trained in this area must respond to the authorial aspects of creation, production and development of interactive and multimedia products for cultural, creative and entertainment companies. It must also be capable of developing innovative products for the health sectors, companies linked to education, graphics, audiovisual communication and advertising companies, production and maintenance of web pages, animation film production companies and multimedia production companies.
