| Course Presentation

The Higher Professional Technical Course in Web Development and Mobile Devices fits into a profile of young people and professionals who are looking for more and new skills and techniques in the areas of creation, development and maintenance of IT solutions based on Web technologies, as well as production and integration of products and multimedia content. At the same time, this new training offer allows for a rapid transition to the new needs of the local and inter-municipal business sector, initially, and, later, regionally and nationally. This course is designed to meet the needs of companies and their employees, and can take place in an after-work format.

| Entry Conditions

Fulfill one of the following conditions:

  • Hold a secondary education course (with or without entrance exams) or a legally equivalent qualification;
  • Have passed the tests for those over 23 years of age;
  • Hold a CET or a higher education degree, with a view to professional requalification.

| Learning Objectives

Professionals trained in the area of Web Development and Mobile Devices are able to manage and develop projects that integrate web and multimedia technologies that aim to analyze, design and develop computer solutions and multimedia products that can be integrated onto the Web.

| Professional Opportunities

  • Plan, design and develop web systems - client-side and server-side.
  • Conceive and design databases.
  • Develop IT solutions for the Web and suitable for the different devices that allow access.
  • Design interfaces respecting graphic design principles, guidelines and specific standards, and in such a way that they are not only usable but also pleasant from an interaction point of view.
  • Develop the content to be included in the implemented solutions, in terms of image, video, sound and interactive elements, possibly involving the very design and implementation of the corporate image of the identity involved.
  • Design augmented reality solutions.
  • Create graphic art for IT solutions
  • Apply SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques
  • Design and produce multimedia, interactive and digital content for the web.
  • Install, configure and manage web content management systems.
  • Develop web content by applying digital marketing strategies and objectives when publishing content.
  • Design, produce and develop 2D and 3D multimedia content.
  • Produce audiovisual narratives for the production of audio, video and digital animation in the composition of multimedia content.
  • Develop integrated and interactive applications and/or multimedia products for a multiplatform environment, namely mobile and web devices.
  • Integrate multidisciplinary teams and collaborate in the production of web and multimedia applications, applying appropriate methodologies to project development.
  • Produce technical documentation to support the development of integrated information and communication solutions, considering legal standards.
