| Course Presentation
This cycle of studies aims to train professionals with fundamental skills in Early Childhood Education and 1st Cycle of Basic Education, considered in a set of domains of mediation and dynamization of groups, individuals and communities, in a comprehensive framework capable of providing answers to the complex problems that arise in today's society and in a globalized world. The objective is to train professionals capable of mastering the scientific, humanistic, artistic, social and cultural content necessary for the exercise of their function, through the development of the skills necessary for their personal and professional success and the success of the groups with whom they work. come to work.

Ana Raquel Aguiar has a PhD in Language Didactics and a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, Portuguese and French Studies (Educational Branch), from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. Over the last few years, it has been linked to Teacher Training, namely in the Degree in Basic Education and Professional Masters (Pre-School Education, 1st and 2nd cycles of Basic Education).
Teacher training and language didactics, in general, as well as education for development and global citizenship, curricular articulation, critical and creative thinking, in particular, have been his main lines of research.
