ISCE Douro marks International Women's Day
Our Institute marked International Women's Day by organizing several activities. The date celebrated on the 8th of March was lived with great meaning at ISCE Douro and the students from CTeSP in Family and Community Service and from the 3 years of the Degree in Social Education promoted several activities with the aim of raising awareness and sensitizing the entire community to the importance of the date and everything it symbolizes. Thus, CTeSP Family and Community Service students in partnership with the 1st year class of the Degree in Social Education, were throughout the day in the multipurpose space of our Institute, where they welcomed all the women from ISCE Douro with a hug and giving him a small souvenir. In turn, students from the 2nd year class of the Social Education degree, in partnership with Multimedia students, made an awareness video, in which they presented the evolution of the role of women in the job market and the need to continue to fight for equal opportunities and rights in the same. Finally, the graduating class of our Degree in Social Education received very special help to produce a video explaining what it means to be a woman to the participating children .
